About Plan

The vision of the renovation project is to rebuild the old fortification. The master plan is to organize the entire old fortification, while the sub plans are on east, south, west, north gates and downtown area. 26 propositions are planned in order to rebuild the first stone fortification in Taiwan, connect Kwei Shan to Lian Tan, research on fortification archaeology, and organize passage lead to history. With these actions, we could reveal the culture and landscape of the old fortification and combine culture and technology by applying new innovated experiencing methods to show visitors the history and brand-new value of a national interest. This is a chance to build up research depth of the national interest and bring back forgotten memories of the fortification.
